The Three Rondavels

The Three Rondavels

These three unique formed hills are formed by erosion

These three unique formed hills are formed by erosion. They exist of lay stone on which pine trees are growing. They are called rondavels as they look as rondavels, the houses of the traditional Xhosa tribe. The top of the hills are called after the three woman of Chief Maripi Mahile; Magabolle, Modoladikwe and Maseroto. You can spot them already from quite a distance as they emerge approx. 700 meter above the forest.
